Local buyers can borrow up to 50% of the property's value with a maximum purchase price of £300,000 under this scheme. Cyngor Gwynedd's four-year, £13,000,000 version is funded by taxes on second homes and a contribution by the Welsh government.

Cyngor Gwynedd, GB expands breadth and depth of care services with Home Care Project
Council-owned facilities work with general practitioners and social service providers on comprehensive care for residents. Customized plans allow carers to serve residents based on their needs and goals rather than one-size-fits-all checklists. The Home Care Project contracts private specialists in areas not served by the county for evenly distributed care. Project partner Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board helps with program evaluation and specialist recruitment.
