The Central Business District contains five Wi-Fi precincts with localized connectivity for businesses, tourists, and commuters. City officials monitor trends in rainfall, temperature, humidity, and other environmental metrics using microclimate sensors. Datasets from Switching on Darwin are available through the Open Data Hub.
