Dayton, OH Pop-Up Patio Program helps businesses comply with COVID-19 distancing standards
The pilot makes public space available to businesses as COVID-19 limits indoor capacity. Successful patio applications allow the expansion of existing patios into parking lots and sidewalks. The parklet and pedlet options use street parking spots for platformed seating and extended sidewalks. Each application requires photos and plans for the proposed space along with proof of liability insurance. Dayton extended the pilot through December 2021 due to rising cases.
