Derry City & Strabane District Council partnered with the Community Foundation's Acorn Farm Project, The Conservation Volunteers, and University College Cork to launch the "I Can Grow" programme. The programme provided over 250 local families with skills training for growing their own vegetables. Participating families received raised planters, compost, tools, vegetables, and training from growers for two growing seasons.
