The City of Dordrecht partnered with the Regional Energy Desk to promote sustainable energy by selling solar panels to the community. The partnership organized a group purchasing campaign which aggregate demand and scale deployment to make buying, renting, and installing solar panels cheaper and easier for residents and businesses. The partnership also hosted virtual information meetings to educate the public on the subsidies and loans available for solar panels.

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, GB pursues LIFE CRITICAL initiative at Horton Park

Bradford and Dordrecht are collaborating on climate resiliency projects for the public park. Community groups will inventory flora and fauna to gather data on climate change impacts over time. University researchers will survey residents on how they interact with the park. New sustainable drainage systems distribute excess water to support native species. The Horton Park initiative is based on a similar effort at Dordrecht's Wielwijk Park.
