Bradford and Dordrecht are collaborating on climate resiliency projects for the public park. Community groups will inventory flora and fauna to gather data on climate change impacts over time. University researchers will survey residents on how they interact with the park. New sustainable drainage systems distribute excess water to support native species. The Horton Park initiative is based on a similar effort at Dordrecht's Wielwijk Park.
