Residents and visitors parking in 11 zones can purchase permits through the MiPermit platform. A digital parking permit allows parking enforcement to improve responses to illegal parking and fraud. Digital permits also prevent lost or damaged permits that lead to additional charges. Eastleigh Borough Council adopted digital permitting to reduce the costs and oversight of 4,000 paper permits issued every year.
