Eurobodalla, NSW pairs volunteer instructors with drivers-in-training through Y Drive program

Eurobodalla, NSW Y Drive Volunteer Drivers-in-Training

In Progress

The program supports residents without access to vehicles as they train for the provisional driver's license. Volunteer instructors walk participants through exercises and quizzes in addition to 120 hours of driving time. Eurobodalla supplies three training vehicles throughout the region to accommodate learners from outlying areas. The council recently funded 25 spots for new learners after the completion of a three-year pilot.
