Archie is an AI-powered chatbot powered by Citibot and accessible from the city's website. Residents can report non-emergency issues like streetlight outages and potholes thanks to Archie's integration with the My FairfieldCA portal. The bot simulates human conversation in 71 languages to identify online resources and contacts appropriate for each conversation. City officials named the bot Archie in honor of the arch located on Texas Street.

Fairfield, CA develops Homeless to Work Program pilot with Mission Samoa, Inc.

The pilot provides 10 homeless residents with the resources for long-term success. Participants access short-term housing, skill-building courses, and transportation services for essential trips. Mission Samoa, Inc. and the Fairfield Housing Authority are easing the path to affordable housing through its Tenant-Based Rental Assistance initiative. Fairfield's Homeless Services Division will use this collaboration as a template for future partnerships to reduce homelessness.
