Genoa, LIG Accessibility Map Mobility Barriers

A cross-departmental team is nearing the end of a two-year project that maps structural barriers to mobility. Genoa's GeoPortale hosts a first-in-Italy accessibility map for the entire city. Color-coded buildings, streets, and neighborhoods cover the spectrum from green for completely unobstructed to red for completely obstructed. The completed map will help the city and community groups address the most challenging locations for residents with mobility issues.
