Local shops start the award process with a self assessment of public health measures adopted to prevent transmission of COVID-19. Borough officials ask for photographic proof of these measures and conduct random site audits. Successful applicants receive COVID Compliant Award certificates and placement on a council map of participating businesses. An online form allows customers to recognize continued efforts at public health protections by award recipients.
