Hampshire County Council, GB Construction Skills Fund
The three-year program addressed vacancies impacting construction projects throughout the county. Participants with or without construction experience received free training for entry-level work. Graduates of the pre-employment training sessions were prepared for traffic control, highway work, and general labor. Developers and local councils benefitted from reliable labor and met social value goals set by Employment and Skills Plans (ESPs).
