Hobart, TAS CityPILOTS temporary public art initiative activates physical and digital twin spaces

Hobart, TAS CityPILOTS Temporary Public Art Digital Twin

In Progress

City officials approved eight public art projects across two exhibitions in 2022. Physical projects like a digital clock backed by local imagery and a memorial from 2045 are placed in an experimental art precinct. CityPILOTS dedicated two of its spaces to virtual projects within Hobart's digital twin. The first digital twin project provides an aerial journey over Hobart and may remain as a map layer at the pilot's conclusion.
