The program recruits Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders for employment on the Kalgoorlie City Centre regeneration project. Participants learn the skills necessary to fill essential project positions and prepare for future employment. Ongoing mentoring and support services are provided by the city as well as the Australian Aboriginal Mining Academy. The first cohort prepared trainees for employment in business support and occupational health and safety positions.
