Kirklees Council hosts a community food worker for three one-hour courses on Microsoft Teams. Every course includes a cooking tutorial, practical tips for cutting food waste, and an online Q & A session. Save Food Save Money covers meal planning, storage, and portions to reduce the 36% of household waste consisting of food. The free workshops were brought back after more than 1,000 residents requested help with food waste in a council survey.
