Beware the Grease Beast is a multimedia campaign to combat sewer blockages from flushed grease. The city's Waste Services and Media Relations teams developed an online resource that follows flushed items from toilets to wastewater treatment plants. The website details what should and shouldn't go into toilets and the proper disposal of fats and oils. Visual representations of the Grease Beast are stationed throughout the city to grab public attention.

The city was recognized for the campaign at the 2019 Saskatchewan Municipal Awards.
