Logan, QLD Wildlife Activity Map Local Roads Awareness

Council officials reviewed data on kangaroo, koala, and wallaby activity near 21 locations. The resulting map assigns risk levels for each location based on road-kill statistics, wildlife proximity, and speed limit variations dating back to 2011. Logan will target interventions like digital wildlife signage and virtual fences using the map. This project also shapes outreach efforts to residents on how they can avoid collisions and protect native species.
