London Borough of Hackney, GB Cargo Bike Share Car-Free
In Progress
Borough officials partnered with Beryl Bikes to implement the country's first bike-sharing program of its kind. Eight e-cargo bikes are available for public use at four docking stations selected for their proximity to main streets. Residents book their bike rides on the Beryl app and transport up to 80 kilograms during their journeys. Cargo Bike Share is funded by the Zero Emission Network formed by the boroughs of Hackney, Islington, and Tower Hamlets.
