Lund, SE all-day meal delivery pilot elderly service program

The Municipality of Lund launched a pilot program which offers meal deliveries to reduce malnutrition among the home-bound elderly. The pilot targets elderly residents, that have an assessed malnutrition or be at risk of malnutrition, and offers them an all-day food allowance. The program's nurse is responsible for the assessment and prescription of the all-day meal kit as a medical intervention. The Health and Care Administration also employed a dietician to produce its own recipe book.
