The city of Lyon is stamping products created, manufactured, or processed locally with a "Made in Lyon" label in order to guarantee authenticity for consumers and promote local shopping. Interested artisans, entrepreneurs, and creators can submit an application online then a qualified jury determines whether to award the label for a period of one year. The "Made in Lyon" label is divided into four categories: fashion and design, food (excluding catering), decoration, and manufactured products.
