Missoula County partnered with the Clark Fork Coalition, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, and the City of Missoula to establish the River Recreation Ambassador pilot program. The program involves hiring several "ambassadors" to monitor parking and other challenges along the Clark Fork River corridor. The program was designed to address concerns over public safety and the behaviors of river users during the busy summer season.
