Public noise indicator
Noise pollution coming from increasing motorcycles and cars traffic on two of our main local roads has been having an important negative impact on the quality of life of our citizens living in the surrounding area. Apart from a sensibilisation campaign launched earlier this year, the town has been working in close partnership with a local high tech company to create the first public noise indicator. Two of them have been installed and we are actually collecting data to assess the impact of them

Strategic vision statement
A major two year common work with all our municipal team to determine the vision, the mission and the values of our administration. But, most important, added value for citizens is now part of every action of our administration. Our goal is also to mobilise municipal employees and integrate the notion of public service as a positive asset for the municipality.

Innovation policy for the municipal administration
After months of work, i had the privilege of presenting a new innovation policy intended to stimulate change and innovation throughout the municipal administration of Morin-Heights. Every department is being allowed yearly a certain budget in order to create projects based on staff ideas and intended to improve citizen services and experience with the administration. Every project is evaluated with all knowkedge and lessons drawn from these are being shared between all departments.
