Oxfordshire County Council, GB and ULEMCo develop hydrogen fuel cells for emergency vehicles

The county's Fire and Rescue Service worked with ULEMCo on an eight-month evaluation of fire engine needs. This study determined how much energy was required for four hours of water pumping and typical travel distances to calls. ULEMCo will create a prototype drivetrain with hydrogen fuel cells for real-world tests across the county.
