Bioelements are black plastic components used in local aquafarms that have spread across Ringkøbing Fjord. Local officials created an interactive map for anglers, beachgoers, and visitors to add their bioelement sightings. The project's portal includes a map of the past week's reports and a heat map of frequently reported locations. Ringkøbing-Skjern uses reports to measure the extent of pollution and allocate cleanup teams.
