Lime will initially deploy 100 e-scooters for use in the Rochdale city center. An additional 400 e-scooters may be added in surrounding towns during the one-year pilot. Essential workers benefit from unlimited rides during the pilot's duration. Borough officials and the national government have the option to add six months to the trial based on usage rates and safety reports.
