Seattle, WA Deconstruction Incentive Pilot Reuse Recycling

In Progress

Seattle pursued the pilot in search of innovative ways for repurposing construction materials and reducing demolition impacts on the environment. The incentive program offers $4,000 per eligible deconstruction project. Qualifying applicants hold current demolition permits for the complete removal of wood-framed residential buildings. The city's Public Utilities and Construction & Inspections teams also require project completion by four approved contractors.
