Springfield, MA plans to invest $450,000 in elections
The City of Springfield plans to invest $450,000 in new election machines, voting equipment, ballot training, election day support, and post-election maintenance. The city is seeking to purchase 72 tabulators to count votes and 64 ballot boxes to store cast ballots at each of its 64 precincts. The city is requesting proposals for contracts that include purchasing, shipping, delivery, installation, and training associated with the equipment and election reporting software.
