Taby, SE installs keyless digital locks for residents receiving home care services

The Municipality of Täby introduced keyless digital locks to improve the security and efficiency of home care services. The municipality is installing these free digital locks for any residents currently receiving home care services. Authorized staff are able to open their doors using a specific mobile phone and a personal code. The digital locks do not prevent residents from using a regular key and whenever a resident discontinues their home care services the digital locks are removed.

The Municipality of Österåker collaborated with neighboring municipalities to launch the Green Wedges Northeast website. The ten green wedges are large contiguous green areas from the surrounding countryside which are developed independently of municipal boundaries to create good conditions for animal and plant life. The website was designed to spread awareness, encourage biological diversity, and help residents find green excursions near their home.
