The Municipality of Täby introduced keyless digital locks to improve the security and efficiency of home care services. The municipality is installing these free digital locks for any residents currently receiving home care services. Authorized staff are able to open their doors using a specific mobile phone and a personal code. The digital locks do not prevent residents from using a regular key and whenever a resident discontinues their home care services the digital locks are removed.
