Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, GB Godley Green

Planning

The planned community includes two village centers, two train stations, and a broadband network. Walkers and cyclists will use six kilometers of trail to connect with the Greater Manchester Bee Network. The village's mixture of homes, apartments, and self-build lots fulfills 20% of the region's goal of 11,000 new homes by 2037. Council planners estimate 45% of Godley Green will be green space open to the public compared to 15% during the land's previous use.
