City officials monitor each system's impacts on fuel efficiency and emissions using the dynaCERT HydraLitica platform. This pilot runs through the autumn and winter months, thus evaluating how Timmins can achieve year-round sustainable fleet operations.

The City of Timmins is partnering with Top Hat Robotics to add automated machines to help with its annual sidewalk maintenance inspection program. The automated machines will conduct the city's 180 kilometers of sidewalk inspections in 2 to 4 weeks; a job which normally takes a team of workers approximately 3 to 4 months to complete. The machines will be accompanied with a human chaperone who can answer any questions from curious residents.

Each time the City retires a Timmins Transit bus it will be replaced with one equipped with the QUANTUM system. The new buses are designed to improve the local transportation safety and accessibility for wheelchair passengers.
