The Tupelo City Council approved an agreement with Tombigbee Fiber which allows the electronic cooperative to place attachments on city utility poles in order to provide broadband services. According to the agreement, Tombigbee Fiber must pay the city $12.96 per attachment each year in exchange for building more efficient broadband equipment.
