Local businesses received copies of a city-published guide on the needs of seniors who represents one-quarter of the city's population. A self-assessment determines a shop's level of accessibility in 20 questions. Participants who score high in areas like low ambient sound, well-lit spaces, and patient service receive seals of participation. This initiative is part of a Comercio Próximo - Next Economy - campaign that includes weekly shopping vouchers.
