The City of Vilvoorde created a free, confidential, and voluntary neighbor meditation service to help residents resolve conflict through peaceful communication. Residents can request the service to handle annoying or unpleasant situations such as disruptive noise, odor nuisance, animals, garbage, gossip, etc. The voluntary neighbor mediators take a neutral position and encourage the neighbors to find a common solution through conversation in a neutral location.
