Wellington City Council, NZ installs ZICLA modular bus platforms on Riddiford Street

Wellington City Council, NZ ZICLA Modular Bus Platforms

In Progress

Five adjustable platforms made from recycled plastics were added to bus stops on the busy street. The first platform at Wellington Hospital features 1,000 interlocked pieces spanning 70 meters. ZICLA's platform design aligns with city sidewalks with ramps for bicycles, wheelchairs, and scooters. Wellington can easily relocate platforms based on commuter feedback or following approval of permanent road changes.
