Westerville, OH Smart Parking Pilot Traffic Congestion
City officials worked with Fybr and Parking Genius to outfit 350 off-street parking spots in four lots with sensors. Visitors to the Uptown Westerville area use the Parking Genius app to check for real-time spot availability found in sensor data. The 14-month pilot is intended to test the viability of smart parking for on-street spots and additional lots in the area.
