Yuba County constructed a 20-storage shed village as an emergency housing option for homeless residents. The sheds can be used for homeless occupants and homeless people can receive services for up to 90 days as long as they are working on finding permanent housing.
Project Succeeded
The 2016 program expanded in 2019 as the county constructed more storage sheds for additional housing. The cost of each storage shed is just $4,500.
