Aberdeen City Council is about to become the first city in the world to use hydrogen-powered double-decker buses. The public bus company, First Aberdeen, will be operating 15 of these buses along the city's popular service routes by the Summer of 2020. The buses are being manufactured by Wrightbus and they are just as efficient as electric buses. Additionally, hydrogen-powered buses refuel faster than electric buses and can operate longer before needing to refuel.
