In Progress
Participants are employed by the city's Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department for 24 hours per week. Daily pay increases from $80 to $96 in January 2022 and each worker receives an $8 daily food stipend. The program requires 15 hours each week of training, wellness services, and coaching from local service providers. City and county officials will evaluate participant success in finding permanent housing and long-term employment throughout the one-year pilot.
