Bayswater, WA engages local coffee shops in mental health campaign with Chatty Cafes initiative

Bayswater, WA Chatty Cafes Initiative Mental Health

The council announced the program at two partner cafes during Mental Health Week. Each cafe contains at least one chatty table and a person signals their interest in conversation by sitting down. A Stress Less Space event prior to the kickoff raised mental health awareness among local businesses and residents. Bayswater officials will recruit additional cafes for the initiative in line with its Act-Belong-Commit wellbeing campaign.
