Bedford Park, IL Connect2Work Mobility Pilot
The village partners with Uber and Via to handle first-mile, last-mile trips between workplaces and transit stops. Bedford Park and Moovit are developing a mobility-as-a-service app to plan and execute user trips. Regional transit authorities were engaged to optimize Connect2Work for existing CTA, Metra, and Pace stops. Connect2Work fills gaps in local transit and reduces traffic congestion caused by single-passenger car commutes.
