The City of Boston and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council are launching an 18-month e-cargo bike pilot program focused on small business deliveries. The pilot program is being designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, decrease traffic congestion, and improve road safety. Boston city officials are creating a request for proposals to find a third-party operator for the e-cargo bike pilot program that will be able to work with a wide variety of small businesses.
