Bowling Green, KY inclusive adaptive bike social event
The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department's Adaptive Sports Program hosted "Pedal to the Medal" its first inclusive bike social. The program partnered with adaptive tryke organizations AMBUCS and BikeWalkBG to construct a course and offer a diverse range of bikes. During the event, children of varying abilities were able to ride adaptive trykes, scooters, and handcycles over the specially constructed course.
