The Charleston Police Department identified growing difficulties in preventing underage drinking at local restaurants and bars. The six-month pilot offers free use of the Intellicheck platform by 31 participating businesses. The Intellicheck Portal confirms the accuracy of a patron's ID card using facial biometrics. Pilot participants can equip existing mobile devices with the software for ID verification in seconds.
