The city of Chicago's Department of Transportation is introducing people with disabilities to adaptive cycling through its bike-share program Divvy. The city is partnering with Adaptive Adventures to make its cycling program more inclusive by offering recumbent, hand cycle, and tandem bicycles during introductory sessions. Adaptive Adventures guides will be onsite to answer questions, help riders select the right cycle, provide training, and offer safe storage of attendees belongings.
