Cuyahoga County has started issuing marriage licenses online to prevent potential exposure to COVID-19. The typical in-person application process has been suspended during the pandemic. Any local couple with a verified officiant and a wedding ceremony scheduled within the next month are eligible to participate. Following approval, the license can be obtained immediately simply by entering a valid email address and printing the document at home.
