A 2019 pilot in the city's Mariposa District led to an expansion into six additional areas. The Denver Housing Authority and the Urban Land Conservancy identified neighborhoods with limited transit options and low average incomes. Each area houses an all-electric vehicle and charging station available to Colorado CarShare members. Neighborhood residents with qualifying incomes receive discounted memberships funded by the city.
