Ede, GE turns investment in solar farm into energy savings for households receiving social benefits

Ede, GE Households Energy Savings Solar Farm Investment

Local officials informed 2,500 qualifying households of the solar collective project by mail. Energy from a 5,000-panel ValleiEnergie farm will be allocated to 120 families earning less than 40,024 euros per year. Participants switch from their previous providers to ValleiEnergie for a minimum of three years with the potential to receive subsidized energy for 15 years. The discounted energy program represents an annual savings of up to 100 euros.
