Ede, Barneveld, and Wageningen are pooling public funds previously used for Guarantees of Origins (GO). GOs are certificates of sustainable generation by regional energy suppliers. EnergieWEB funds will be invested directly into local energy sources including solar installations and wind turbines. Local officials introduced this program to create sustainable jobs and increase control over their green energy portfolios.
