Eurobodalla, NSW expands We Care Eurobodalla sustainability campaign during COVID-19 lockdowns

Eurobodalla, NSW We Care Sustainability Campaign COVID-19

Complete

We Care Eurobodalla began in 2018 to promote sustainable packaging in the food, retail, and hospitality industries. Consumer reliance on takeout options during the pandemic led officials to re-emphasize the program. Business owners arrange consultations with council staffers to identify reusable or recyclable options from regional suppliers. The program's website includes checklists for replacing single-use items and a list of business Champions that have eliminated five problem plastics.
